Caernarfon Town have announced that Sean Eardley has left the club to take charge of Cymru North side Llandudno.
Eardley joined the Cofis in 2017 as assistant manager and took over the top role that October after Iwan Williams' departure for Llandudno. During his tenure as manager, Eardley took the Cofis back up to the top flight after a 10-year absence.
In an open letter to club supporters, Eardley stated: “It comes with great sadness that I’m stepping away from my role at Caernarfon Town.
It has been a stressful and emotional couple of days, I have spoken to lots of people to try and aid me with a decision but realised ultimately it would come down to me and doing what’s right for me and my family at this time."
An opportunity has arisen to manage my hometown club Llandudno and I feel the day to day stresses of top flight Welsh domestic football would again eventually become a little too much.
